The Unprofessionals
We bring adults together through play, unexpected adventures, and experiences that make it easier to connect and feel human.
Out of work mode. Into something unexpected.

It’s Saturday. It’s Halloween. 🎃
You’ve spent all week in talks, panels and networking. Time to get outside and play.
We’re turning Chapultepec Park into a real-life multiplayer video game, and your phone is the controller. One person starts as a zombie. Everyone else is trying to survive.
The Unprofessionals and Quest Collective (opens in a new tab)
Survival briefing
Think childhood tag, upgraded: your phone runs the game, but your legs, your instincts and the people around you decide whether you make it.
Dodge zombies, collect health packs, and stay alive as long as possible.
A zombie got you? Congratulations. You’re one of them now.
Switch sides, chase the remaining survivors, and help spread the outbreak.
Never played before? Perfect.
No gaming experience needed, but you will be running, so come ready to move. We’ll get you ready before the outbreak begins: introductions, phone setup, the rules and a few survival tips.
At the end, survivors and zombies regroup to see who made it out, who didn’t, and how ;)
Warning
You’ll run. You’ll hide. You’ll be chased. And if you get caught, you’ll become the thing you were running from.
You’ll be chased. You’ll try to hide. You might turn on your friends.
Expect suspense, thrilling chases, ridiculous moments, and a whole lot of fun.
The tech
What if technology brought us closer together in real life?
Forget another afternoon staring at a screen. This time, technology sends you into the real world: running, hiding, strategizing, and trying to survive alongside other humans.
Tech that gets you off the couch, not glued to it.
The free PlayCulture app runs the game and helps you collect health packs and stay alive. A multiplayer video game, except you’re actually inside it.
Before you play
You’ll need a fully charged smartphone with mobile data and the free PlayCulture app installed.
The game is played in English. Basic English comprehension is recommended.
Registration
$200 MXN reserves your spot and covers organizing costs. We don’t make a profit on this.
You’ll be on the move around the park for about 40 minutes, so bring only what you can carry comfortably. There’s no bag storage.
Come solo or bring friends.
You don’t need to arrive with a group or know anybody beforehand.
It’s a physical game: you’ll run and be chased. Before you pay, we’ll ask you to confirm you understand that.
Every player is a key part of how the game works, so please sign up only if you’re sure you want to face the apocalypse with us!

Quest Collective creates surprise social experiences that spark curiosity, wonder, and genuine human connection. Their guided adventures invite people to step outside their routines and experience something unexpected together.
Not a class. Not a networking event. Not a performance.
We both think adult life could use a lot more surprise. The Unprofessionals designs experiences that get people out of work mode; Quest guides people into the unknown. A zombie apocalypse in a park is exactly where those meet: you don’t know what’s coming, you don’t know who’s on your side, and you end up laughing with strangers. And we love using technology the other way round: not to keep you on a screen, but to get a crowd of humans into the same park.
Because making friends as an adult shouldn’t be harder than surviving a zombie apocalypse.
Game technology by PlayCulture
The game takes place in a public outdoor space. To keep it fun for everyone:
Photos and video may be taken at the event. If you’d rather not appear in them, just tell an organizer when you arrive.
The game runs on PlayCulture, so you play under their terms of use.
There’s only one way to find out.
