For teams

Get your team out of work mode.

Playful, unexpected team experiences designed to help people work better together, reset after a hard stretch, or celebrate something they've earned.

no trust falls. no PowerPoint.

In-house or offsite · Half-day, full-day, or longer · Designed around your team

So, what's going on with your team?

Three reasons to bring us in. Mixing them is allowed.

We need to work better together.

  • People agree in the meeting, then disagree in the hallway.
  • A new team, a merged team, or two teams that never quite meet.

We design around what's actually happening in your team, then create experiences where those dynamics can show up naturally. Your team gets to experience them, notice them, and try something different.

Deeper experiences also make space to connect what happened in the room to what happens back at work.

We need to get out of work mode.

  • Everyone's running on fumes.
  • Even the offsite turned into a work meeting with snacks.

We get people moving, laughing, and paying attention to each other until job titles stop being the main thing in the room. A real break, and a change of energy.

Come back alive.

Talk about Reset →

Our people deserve something great.

  • The big project finally shipped.
  • It was a brutal quarter and everyone showed up anyway.

We build something surprising, ridiculous, and genuinely fun, designed around your team. No hidden agenda. No lesson at the end.

Fun is the whole job.

Talk about Celebrate →

Same play. Different job.

  • Develop joy + something to notice
  • Reset joy + a real break
  • Celebrate joy, period.

None of them fixes a culture in an afternoon, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Nobody needs another mandatory team-building exercise.

Team experiences often fall into two camps: fun but forgettable, or useful but something people would rather skip. We think there's more room in between.

We design the ones people actually want to be in.

1

Play first.

Play lowers the stakes, so people try things they'd never try in a meeting.

2

Built around your team.

No one-size-fits-all experience. We start by asking what's going on.

3

Discovered, not taught.

No lectures. If there's something to notice, your team finds it.

Challenge, yes. Humiliation and forced sharing, never.

Why “Unprofessionals”?

Your people are professionals all day. We're curious about the rest of them.

  • Laughing.
  • Competing.
  • Moving.
  • Thinking.
  • Being ridiculous.
  • Helping each other.

From people who've done our public experiences

“I kept waiting for the self-help moment — the framework, the worksheet. It never came.”
Rachel B.
“I'm a 47-year-old partner at a law firm. I danced like an idiot in a street in Da Nang.”
Kenji A.
“I laughed harder than I have in probably five years.”
Lucia M.

The people behind it

The Unprofessionals was founded by Sam Gute Rogers to help adults step out of routine and back into real life, with other people. Depending on the experience, we work with other facilitators and partners.

Let's talk about your team.

Tell us why you're thinking about this. We'll tell you honestly what we'd do, and if we're not the right fit, we'll say so.

Something went wrong sending that. Please try again in a moment.

Got it.

Thanks for reaching out. We'll be in touch.

What's this for?

Conversation first, proposal second.

We'll only use this to reply.

Planning an event for a client? Same conversation.

Will this make people uncomfortable?

Some experiences include real challenge, the kind a good game has. None involve humiliation or forced sharing. Reset and Celebrate are about fun, not friction.

Will this fix our culture, or our burnout?

No single afternoon will. It can give a team a real break, a shared experience, or a clearer look at how they work together. Lasting change happens back at work, over time.

Is it all physical?

No. Some experiences are active, some aren't, and we adapt to your group.

Where do you work?

We're based in Mexico City. Tell us where your team is and we'll tell you what's possible.
